LG A2 already supports HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG (Cinema HDR) as well as Dolby Vision IQ so that we can enjoy enhanced details and expanded contrast from wide range of HDR content sources. α7 Gen 5 AI Processor 4K is the picture processor integrated with LG A2. It’s completed with AI Picture Pro that can optimize the color, clarity and contrast of the picture delivered on the screen of this TV. LG A2 only comes with basic 60Hz native refresh rate. Although it’s only basic refresh rate, we can still enjoy smooth motion from our favorite action movies and sports. LG A2 also supports Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), HGiG, Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now to bring better gaming experience on its screen. LG A2 comes with 2022 version of WebOS (WebOS 22). WebOS 22 comes with improvements that make it more intuitive and powerful. We can enjoy wide range of premium entertainment from our favorite content providers while we can also run additional smart apps with access to LG Contents/Apps Store as it’s already connected. 802.11ac wireless is already attached with LG A2 to help us connect this TV to our home network. LG A2 and A1 Key Differences

Is LG A2 a Better Successor?
As the successor of LG A1, we can find that there are two main improvements in LG A2: Picture Processor and WebOS. LG A1 is the predecessor of LG A2 that comes with mostly similar specs and features. It indeed comes with the older α7 Gen 4 AI Processor 4K and less powerful AI Picture but it’s basically still able to deliver good picture quality with rich color and perfect black. LG A1 already supports Google Stadia as its Cloud Gaming but it indeed doesn’t support Nvidia GeForce Now. WebOS 6.0 of LG A1 is basically also able to deliver wide range of premium entertainment and run additional smart apps with access to LG Contents/Apps Store. We can also attach additional more advanced AV system with eARC if AI Sound of LG A1 can’t bring good our expected sound quality. In the price side, LG A1 is usually offered at the lower price than LG A2. So, if you have more limited budget, LG A1 is the one that you can choose.
