You forgot to mention the 2020 XBR55x900H has an ASC 3.0 tuner for OTA 4K reception. It’s the only one right now that size anyway. I enjoyed this comparison though. I’m waiting for that 900H !
Thanks for adding that.
We really want a comparison between Sony X95h vs Sony x95G
Another one missed.
900H is the only 2020 Sony TV to have
HDMI 2.1. Which is huge for us gamers.
Will be a nice want for next gen gaming. 950H would not support those.
One is the game model
Its baffling how 950H does not include ATSC 3.0….its a must have for TVs for OTA progamming.
I continue to be shocked on how reviewers, IMO, miss one of the most important features of the 900H, the ASC 3.0 tuner, which allows one to get 4K HDTV for FREE! I have been getting OTA now for 10 years, FREE! Compared to sat and cable TV costs, I save at least 1.5K per year, if not more!! I have been waiting for years to buy a number of new TV’s, but without a ASC 3.0 tuner, I just keep using my existing Now if I could find a fair priced ASC 3.0 tuner box, like the 10 ASC 1.0 converters I have, I would consider buying some of these also.
Don’t forget the X900H also includes HDMI 2.1 for 4K 120hz! The X950H does not include this
Ok, Thanks for that. I actually wait for the official release of X950H to confirm that.
X900H has HDMI 2.1 which the X950H doesn’t as well.
Wish the Refresh rate was mentioned, I’m assuming they both have the same refresh rate.
Hi,
They both use X-Motion Clarity that based on 120Hz native refresh rate. I have added that.
Thanks for your review, just helped dad order the 950H. He uses cable so no need for the ATSC 3.0 and he has zero interest in gaming so no need for the HDMI 2.1 the superior processor and viewing angle are the things he will notice and the price was only $100 greater. I understand as a gamer why people would want the 2.1 for the PS5. Its perfect for mom and dad though.
